Issues Affecting Us

Parking Problems

If you are aware of people parking badly or inconsiderately on our development, then please report the issues to Coventry City Council, via their reporting form, which you can find here:
https://myaccount.coventry.gov.uk/service/Parking_issue_report

You will need to create an account, if you don't already have one.

The Watercourse

We had an issue with the flood defence watercourse at the end of our development and the issue was that the land on either side of it was subsiding.  This issue is now resolved and the banks have been rebuilt.

Background

The solution that our builders Bellway came up with,  to secure the land on either side of the ditch\watercourse, is now failing and solutions are being looked at as to the best way to carry out repairs or completely replace the existing structures.

Your Directors are working with Pennycuick Collins to find the best solution for all of us, and we will keep you posted as the situation progresses

Impact

The repairs that are needed are going to add an extra cost to the normal service charge that everyone pays bi-annually.

We, the Directors, are working with Pennycuick Collins, to come up with the best solution to the problem.

Updates will be available here and via email.

If you are not already on the email distribution list, then please email dave@davenichollsmusic.com with your request to be added, along with your name and address and we'll make sure you also get updates as soon as they are available.

We also have a WhatsApp Group, to share immediate information about anything that affects our area.  If you would like to be added to this, please email dave@davenichollsmusic.com with your request, along with your name and address

 Updates:

The whole project is now going to be managed by the Council, including all the surveys that are needed to ensure that this and any future works have full details of the structural content of that part of our development.  This will mean that things should now move relatively quickly and that there is now an end in sight.  The first phase is the survey and releasing the results, which we should receive by the end of September and then full details of the works and costs should be released by the end of October.  Once we have the full costings, details will be published, and a Resident's Meeting will then be arranged.  If an agreement is reached, then the timetable will be put together for the work and payments or refunds due.  Payment will almost certainly not be requested until the first quarter of the new year.
